We believe in authentic, undeniable quality food. A home-style taste of the island is made right here in Toronto using fresh locally sourced natural ingredients. Because it just tastes better that way. And around here we consider great tasting food one of life’s simple pleasures.

At Roywoods authentic flavor and natural ingredients go hand in hand. Using our secret medley of spices, our meat and seafood are served jerk style and tossed on the grill, releasing a sweet smoke that flavours with a warm, woody pepperiness.

Our mouth-watering dishes are reminiscent of what many Jamaicans cook for their families at home. Try oxtail and curry goat or jerk pork, Cajun catfish and even jerk shrimp. It doesn’t stop there. Our famous hot and spicy pepper sauce — a homemade recipe – gets its distinct flavor from fresh picked farmer’s market Scotch bonnet peppers.

Channeling his Jamaican roots, chef marinates our homemade creations in a jerk sauce for 8-10 hours, slow cooked to perfection.
